Sandy, Karen and Mary traveled up to the Sioux Falls Kennel Club AKC Dog Show on Sunday, October 26th to root for friends showing dogs.

BCK9SAR volunteered to be victims for the newest
CERT graduation class and their disaster simulation on
Saturday, October 25th at the Brookings Fire
Department training grounds. Thank goodness the sun
was shining.

Pounder school held Saturday,
November 1st at Midway State Camp
was a huge success! Participants had
an enjoyable day learning about Grid
Searching Techniques, Tracking
Basics, Clue Awareness, Compass and
Topo Maps and Knot Tying. Deputy
Mitch Vilhauer from the Brookings
County Sheriff's Department taught
Crime Scene Preservation.
